1.Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
2.Remove the floor console upper cover.(Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly")
3.Disconnect the floor console upper cover switch connector (A).

4.Remove the floor console upper cover switch (A) after loosening the mounting screw.


[Heated Steering Wheel Control Module (Integrated Body Control Unit (IBU))]
1.Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
2.Remove the glove box.(Refer to Body - "Glove Box")
3.Remove the heater control unit.(Refer to Heating,Ventilation And Air Conditioning - "Heater Control Unit")
4.Remove the IBU (A) after loosening the mounting bolts and nuts.

5.Remove the IBU (A) after disconnecting the connector.

1.Measure the resistance of NTC and Heated pad.NTC resistance - 10.0 kΩ ± 3 % (25 ° C)8.875 ~ 11.27 kΩ (23℃ ~ 27℃)Heated pad resistance - 1.90 Ω ± 0.2 Ω
2.Measure the temperature.
– The temperature of wheel surface must rise from -20°C to 20°C in 6 minutes.
– The temperature of wheel surface must reach 38°C ± 4 ° C in 25 minutes.
