Hyundai Santa Cruz: Cooling System / Oil Cooler Module

- Components Location

1. Oil Cooler Module


- Removal

   

• Be careful not to damage the parts located under the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank and canister) when raising the vehicle using the lift.(Refer to General Information - "Lift and Support Points")

1.Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

2.Remove the engine room under cover.(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover")

3.Drain the coolant by loosening the drain plug.(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Coolant")

4.Disconnect the high flow electric Oil Pump (HF EOP) connector (A).

5.Loosen the mounting bolts (A) and then remove the wiring bracket.

Tightening torque :9.8 - 11.7 N·m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf·m, 7.2 - 8.6 lb-ft)

6.Disconnect the oil cooler hose (A).

7.Remove the oil cooler module (A) after loosening the bolts.

Tightening torque :19.6 - 26.4 N.m (2.0 - 2.7 kgf.m, 14.4 - 19.5 lb-ft)

- Installation

1.To install, reverse the removal procedures.

2.Check the cooling & lubrication oil level after refilling the DCT with cooling & lubrication oil.(Cooling System - "Dual Clutch Transmission Lubricant / Cooling Oil")
