Hyundai Santa Cruz: Tail Gate / Repair procedures
1.Remove the tailgate from the body.(Refer to Tailgate - "Tailgate Assembly")
2.Make adjustments to the gate side hinges (B) by loosening the bolts and moving the hinges forward / backward.
3.Reinstall the gate and see if further adjustment is needed.If adjustment is not fully met by tailgate side hinges then, adjustment of the body side hinge (C) is needed and will require removal of the bumper.
4.After loosening the tailgate striker (A) mounting bolt, adjust the tailgate by moving it up and down or from side to side.
